The Wednesday morning Placentia Presbyterian Church Clothes Closet grew directly out of our Soup Kitchen Ministry on Thursday evenings, and is currently available to women and men from the community on the first and third Wednesday mornings of each month throughout the year.
Volunteers who assist in this ministry sort and set out the clothing. The Clothes Closet operates out of the Fellowship Hall and is available to anyone who needs clothing, shoes, items for children and babies, toys, small housewares and linens.
Clothing donations come not only from PPC members but from other churches within the community as well. In addition, donations of good clean clothing items are brought in by families and individuals who live within the larger community. |
